where it all ends

oh my god the day is finally here!!! i am so excited about this trip i can't stand it!! yay vacation!! see ya'll in two weeks!!! posted at 10:04 PM done and done! i am pretty much packed and ready to go on vacation!! there's a few misc. items that can't yet be packed, of course, but i am soooo ready to get on that plane! *sigh* i wish i could just go now instead of having to go to work this week. grrr. i know work is gonna be a little crazy, too, cuz i have to make sure everything is taken care of before i leave. that's why i decided that i *had* to get all my packing done this weekend. it just wasn't gonna work if i had to work late hours and then rush everything during the week. but i'm done! my evenings are free for me to relax this week. the only thing i'm a little worried about is how heavy my pack is. i borrowed jordan's big backpack that he used while he was in europe, and it's not stuffed or anything, but it feels a bit heavy. i'm afraid it'll be cumbersome to lug that thing around. i tried it on and walked around w/ it and everything, and it's not too bad. but i feel that if we were to walk long distances, it just wouldn't work. i'll have to discuss with jen and lawrence to see what they think. it's totally modest for a two-week trip, but just because it's a backpack i feel like i should make it as light as possible. we shall see. i'll have to compare with how much jen and lo pack. oh, and i do have to make one last trip to target. cuz the toiletry bag i bought yesterday just didn't cut it. i was able to fit a lot of stuff in there, but because of it's slim tri-fold design, i couldn't get it to close once i put everything in. pretty useless. i ended up just putting everything in freezer bags. so whatever, i'm just taking it back. oh god, just a few more days. i can't wait!!! yay vacation! posted at 10:21 PM awww shucks. i think i have a secret admirer...i noticed today that someone wrote "i love u" on my car. you know, cuz it's so dirty. haha, it's probably just the new "wash me" and it was just some random person. or maybe it was just jordan or something. nonetheless, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. =P posted at 8:50 PM woo-hoo!! starting life w/ brand new 20/20 vision!! this rocks!!! i'm still kinda out of it tho cuz they gave me some strong sleeping pill last night and i still feel kinda like just napping all day. oh, and i'm supposed to wear my goggles to sleep every day for a couple weeks. hehe, i'm calling it my retainer. but everything's pretty sweet. oh, the only thing is i can't wear eye makeup or do any swimming or be in any "dirty environments" (i swear that's what the instructions say) for a couple weeks as well. s'ok, s'ok. all a small price to pay for a glasses and contacts-free life. the best part of it all is that in exactly two weeks is when my hong kong/bali vacation will be, at which point everything will be good to go!!! oh, and tonight a bunch of us are going to bang, and it's great because the last time i went to bang was when i lost one of my contacts! tonight there will be no such worries!! yay! posted at 4:26 PM i just got back from a free advanced screening of alfie starring jude law. i was just saying to myself how i never take advantage of these free screening things even tho they go on all the time in l.a. but i'm glad i went to this one. i quite enjoyed it. it kinda reminded me of high fidelity, cuz it was all about relationships. or rather about fucked-up commitment-phobic yet charming guys and how they go about dealing with their lives. pretty good i have to say. and also, damn! jude law is sooooooooo hot!! ;) posted at 10:32 PM so i wake up to discover that i have a flat tire. how i don't know. but i just decide to fuck it and take the bus to work today. great way to start the day, right? anyway, everything completely turned around cuz i found out that i get to go to hawaii!!! and this time it's for a full week! ahhh...i was totally giggling like a school girl. =) anyway, i still have to deal with this flat tire. *sigh* i might just call triple a. bleh. but, yay, hawaii!! posted at 7:02 PM
