i'm home!!!! and freakin' exhausted. more later, since i have to unpack and get ready for going back to work tomorrow. boo. it's always a bummer to go back to the office after an awesome vacation. i'm looking forward to sleeping in my own bed tonight, though.

also, johnny knoxville was on our flight back home! i saw him at the baggage claim. that's the first time i've ever had a celebrity sighting at the airport.

street scene was pretty awesome i have to say! the flaming lips did a cover of bohemian rhapsody!! that was definitely the shining moment right there. oh, so good! and wayne coyne pulled the same "coming out in a bubble" antics he did at coachella last year. and once again, i was so close i could've touched the bubble! haha. the white stripes, garbage, and death cab did not disappoint, and surprisingly (although maybe not cuz unlike jen, i do enjoy some "flavor" from time to time. haha), i really liked the black eyed peas.

also, it was a little weird watching dashboard confessional. they went on before the flaming lips, so i went over to start claiming a good spot, and it just felt strange having once known so many of those songs by heart (yes, i admit it) and now barely remembering the choruses. it's been that long. one thing i did notice, though, is that he definitely pepped up a lot of those songs. i was listening and watching, and i remember thinking to myself, this does not sound the same. it was missing all that angst...he wasn't even singing with his eyes closed! haha, i guess i'm not the only one who's outgrown this stuff. it had it's time and it's place, but now i'm happy to say that, for the most part, i'm pretty angst-free. wow, and that statement in itself is pretty weird to say...

but anyway, i should get off to finish up my packing. yay! boston and nyc, here i come!
